Girls and boys,
"In my journey as a taster, among so many times surprised by good examples, I do not get tired of saying we cannot have prejudices or preconceived concepts. Aracuri I did not know, but I know the distributor of this wine in Sao Paulo, and as I know and I know that distributes other fine wines, among them Don Abel, still little known and also the excellent sparkling Stars of Brazil, with whom I gave a talk in 2007, I knew in advance that there could be more wine only. To indeed it is not just one, but a fine example of our wine industry can offer.
Since the label to the bottle and cork, all show care and elegance. It is still a bit young, but still promising in some good years in aging, despite the fact that they have not been matured in wood, but in steel tanks. This proves that with good phenolic ripeness, we can have wine a little more long-lived without the presence of wood, and that favors the same altitude. What pleased me about the wine is that it takes a while to open all its flavors, its alcohol content is civilized, more to the old world than to the new and very striking acidity to harmonize with adequate variety of gastronomy. I always remember the acidity because there is no adequate and harmonization without this predicate is in the red, white or rose wines, still, or sparkling; sweet or dry.
The producer is Aliprandini & Meyer Fine Wines Ltd. in the region of Campos de Cima da Serra, RS, and looking back these and other fine wines is Abilio, the Brotherhood Wine Valley. "
