Aracuri Wine
Cabernet Sauvignon 2007
The Aracuri wine was made from our own vineyards with grapes harvested by hand, conducted on trellis (espalier) vineyard conduction system with spur-pruned cordon, located in the municipality of Muitos Capões in Campos de Cima da Serra Region, RS nearby to the Aracuri Ecological Station – National Protected Area of Brazil, this area protects beautiful pines and a breed of parrot called Charão. The unique geographic features of the region, with high altitude (960m) and cool weather, allow the development of an authentic wine, with a sense of place (Terroir). It is the result of the first harvest and, therefore, made in a young style. It looks clear, bright, with high intensity and ruby red hue. The flavor stands out with notes of blackberry, cherry, pomegranate, and subtle spices. The palate is ripe with balanced acidity, medium body and structure.
